Anza, the Solana-focused software development firm in charge of the Agave client, has released its roadmap for 2025. The main focus is to make Solana a faster and more effective network, aiming to reach the 1 million transactions per second (TPS) mark in the future. Anza stated that is preparing to increase its capacity, which is currently being held back by the 50 million compute units (CUs) block limit. Other improvements are also being planned, including transaction scheduling optimizations, improvements in its block propagation protocol, and the implementation of faster hashing algorithms. “By relentlessly tackling bottlenecks along the transaction and shred processing pipelines, Anza is set to tackle the challenges of 2025 and beyond,” the team declared.
