Chris Seedor, co-founder and CEO of Seedor GmbH, claims that centibillionaire Elon Musk liked his social media post, which speculates that the Tesla boss is quietly buying Bitcoin.
The like has been picked up by many prominent influencers, including \"Bitcoin historian\" Pete Rizzo.
Seedor shared a video showing Musk\'s actual profile in his notifications.

X (formerly Twitter) started hiding likes back in June 2024 as part of a push for more privacy. This came after Musk\'s likes started attracting a lot of media scrutiny. Even APIs and various scraping tools are no longer capable of returning such data.
It should be noted that some commentators have questioned the legitimacy of Seedor\'s video, accusing him of fabricating for clout.
As reported by U.Today, Musk mentioned Bitcoin last month when referring to the encryption of the new XChat feature.
Tesla bought $1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin in 2021 and started accepting the largest cryptocurrency. However, it then soured on Bitcoin as a means of payment, with Musk voicing concerns about the carbon footprint of its mining.
Musk initially revealed that he personally held 0.25 BTC as a gift from a friend in a reply to writer J.K. Rowling. In July 2021, he confirmed that he holds BTC as well as several altcoins.
